Sleep and dine from one to five stars
The Lloyd Hotel is a Dutch hotel centrally situated in the fashionable heart of Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands Area. Renowned Dutch architects, designers and artists have transformed this monument dating from 1921 in a hotel where many inhabitants of Amsterdam, international artists, tourists and business people feel at home. The service is the same for everybody: 24 hours room service, free WIFI (glass fibre 30 MBit up and download) and satellite television on all rooms. There is a restaurant, a bar, a library and even a “corner” shop.

Location
The Lloyd Hotel is very well situated: it is near the city centre (direct public transport connections), access from the ring-road is easy and from the rooms lovely views over the water of the fashionable Eastern Docklands area are to be had. The hotel has parking facilities of its own in a parking garage. There's also a boating dock in front of the hotel if you're interested in getting there with your own boat.

'It is hard to say what makes it quite so wonderful, but I suppose it's simply the hotel you would build for yourself if you only knew how. Each of the 117 rooms is different, quirky and inspiring and they all make you feel like jumping on the beds and playing' The independent on Sunday, 23 October 2005
