Lloyd Table
The Lloyd Table has been typecast as the ‘Pizza Marghuerita’ among tables. It is a simple yet stylish table designed by Christoph Seyferth for Lloyd Hotel. It is entirely made of steel and therefore not just very strong but also flexible. Since the steel is pliable, the feet and the tabletop always adjust themselves to the shape of the floor it is on, and therefore the table will not wobble.
The collection consists of counter height pub table, work desk or and a dinner table and is available in five colours (black, white, grey, rust and skyblue). The prize is determined by the size of the tabletop: € 795,- , € 895,- or € 995,- a piece.
Spacious design
Five years ago, artistic director of Lloyd Hotel Suzanne Oxenaar was adamant in her choice for Christoph Seyferth to design the smallest rooms in Lloyd Hotel.
Seyferth has a reputation for designs which leave ample space for the user.
His designs do not mark the space, but offer users a chance to play with the space and with the meaning of the design. For these rooms in Lloyd Hotel he developed an extra high table which can be pushed over the bed.
Lots of guests were interested in this table. This was the reason to start producing it.
Christoph Seyferth
Seyferth lives and works in Maastricht. In 2004, the Seyferth Building was opened, which he developed in accordance with his own insights. It is a space where living and working can go together and the space can simply be adjusted to the phase of life the inhabitant is in. The building (which is currently for sale), brought him international fame.
