In the restaurant and amidst the other hotel guests, each Monday night we present a programme with guests of Lloyd Hotel, and artists, musicians, philosophers and filmmakers from the Dutch cultural scene.

Lloyd Time on Mondays always starts at 9pm and it always has free admission.
April has been dubbed 'Month of Philosophy' in the Netherlands. This year's theme is 'The City'.
Lloyd Time dedicates two of its Mondays to philosophies on what makes a good city.
14 April
On 14 April in the company of young street-philosophers and city-planners. The evening will be led by in-house philosopher Renate Schepen. Diners, hotel-guests, admirers of the Richard Hutten bar and you can choose to tune out or to tune in.

21 April
Loten Namling is one of the guests of Lloyd Hotel who will feature in an informal concert in Lloyd Time. He is one of the artists at the Ticket for Tibet festival. The festival wants to draw attention to the Tibetan situation, and takes place on 20 April at NDSM wharf.

Athens is generally speaking the model 'polis'. This evening the question is which cities on other continents had a similar function. Athens and Sparta will be looked at, next to Ife in Nigeria and Xi'an in China.
