Lloyd Time on Mondays: Virus Free GenerationMonday, 19 May, at 21.00 hrs In sub-Saharan Africa over 24 million people are HIV-positive. As part of the Virus Free Generation Tour, five European hiphop artists teamed up with five African artists and toured through Tanzania, Malawi, Namibia and South-Africa. In their company were also European politicians. The artists gave workshops and concerts, and recorded an album together devoted to the struggle against HIV/AIDS. Now, the tour comes to the Netherlands. Performing in Lloyd Time will be Blaxtar (NL) with tha Gosple (Malawi), Ninthe (Amsterdam) with Zuluboy (South-Africa), Willy Valanga & Zubz (Zambia), Fid-Q (Tanzania) with Tina (Chech Republic) and Snazzy (Namibia). Aim of the project- which will last three years- is to raise awareness of the impact of hiv/aids on young people in southern Africa.
