Photographers Henk Bothof and Martin Bakker traveled through India to portray the vast diversity of people, from Budhist monks to ethnic communities like the Lambadi (gypsies), Rabari (sheperds) and Gadaba (agriculturalists). Their book 'Pure India', is filled with close-ups of individuals decked out in traditional costumes. Llink travel journalist Floortje Dessing wrote the preface and part of the sales will go to charity KidsRights.
In Lloyd Time Henk Bothof will show pictures and talk about his Indian experiences. A selection of the 'Pure India' photos is exhibited in Lloyd Hotel until 30 November.
