Gentle cultural night with Karin Giphart talking to guests in the bar, Karsu singing her MasterPeace song at the grand piano and DJ Rocky Marsiano playing his soundtrack to the most viewed short film 'Un Chien d'Andalou'.
This Saturday in 2014 is the second Amsterdam Hotelnight where you can enjoy events in hotels throughout town.
20.00 – 21.30 hrs: Dutch spoken
Hotel Talkshow, an hour of interviews, music, literature and art. With Karin Giphart, Bas Sligting, Tamara Tieleman and Michelle Courtens talking to 'the most sexy vegetarian', singer songwriter Maarten van Praag, 'wheatgrass king' Auke Attema, director of Upstream and of Martijn Theaterdiensten, Martijn Dijkstra, and singer Karsu and her manager Birgul.
21.30 - 21.45 hrs:

MasterPeace is a new initiative for Creating Peace. Together. Founder Ilco van der Linde , creative director Tirso Frances of DieTwee and general manager Piet Boogert will present the design of the MasterPeace Room at Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy.
22.00 - 22.30 hrs:
Turkish-Dutch Karsu sings at the grand piano, among others the song she wrote for MasterPeace and launched at last year's Bevrijdingsfestival.
23.00 – 24.00 uur:
Guided tour on socks and with pocket lanterns, with artistic director Suzanne Oxenaar.
24.00 – 08.00 uur:
Non-stop sceening of the best Shortcutz Amsterdam films. Forty short films competed in 2013. Members of the jury are: Waldemar Torenstra (actor), Rene Wolf (EYE), George Sluizer (director, producer, scriptwriter), Vincent van Ommen (actor), Laser 3.14 (Street Artist), Alexander Tempel (Artists not Armies), Marko van Kampen (EU1), Jeroen Koolbergen (Cadenza Films), Harmen Jalvingh (Bonanza Films) and Jans Possel (Mediamatic Foundation).
DJ Rocky Marsiano plays a live soundtrack to the best viewed short film worldwide: Luis Buñuel en Salvador Dalí's surrealistische 'Un Chien Andalou'.
