MasterPeace Guest Room #310

07/02/2014

"I believe in MasterPeace. World leaders cannot push back armed conflict alone. We need the whole world to make this happen." - Desmond Tutu

Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy are interested in the cultural luggage of international guests and visitors. Often this luggage is the basis of the programme of exhibitions, talks, screenings & shows offered by the Cultural Embassy. Regular guests feel invited to unpack and show their work. This is how a room dedicated to singer Ellen ten Damme and photographer Danny Ellinger came about, and a room of photographer Linda Troeller devoted to the Chelsea Hotel New York.
From 7 March 2014 onwards, room #310 will be devoted to the work of MasterPeace.

MasterPeace. Creating peace. Together.
All over the world thousands of young change-makers, musicians and local leaders of MasterPeace use music, art, media and dialogue to bring opposites together and prevent armed conflict.
Yearly on the International Day of Peace, 21 September, this fast growing, impartial, grass roots movement organizes concerts in over 60 countries around the globe. These MasterPeace events celebrate diversity and fuel peace-building.
Please feel invited to join this 'Just Do It Campaign for peace' and team up with your company, university, band or private initiative. Your talent and network can be crucial to make this important initiative grow further.

Hairpeace, Bedpeace, MasterPeace
Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy believe MasterPeace is doing a wonderful job. That's why we've decided to embrace the MasterPeace campaign. Together with DieTwee designers, we transformed room #310 into a dedicated MasterPeace room. With lifesize pictures and texts on layered curtains throughout the room it now has a MasterPeace exhibition on 27m². By opening one of the curtains, guests ‘leaf through’ the story of MasterPeace and can decide which image is the background to their stay or meeting.
