The terms and conditions mentioned below apply to all bookings for Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy made through this website. Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy is a company registered in The Netherlands whose registered office is at Oostelijke Handelskade 34 – 1019BN  Amsterdam (hereafter “we” or “our”).

All rates shown online are per room per night (unless otherwise stated).  Rates are including VAT and excluding local tourism levies, if applicable. Rates are subject to change without notice. However, your rate is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation.

Upon arrival you will be asked to produce a valid credit card for the hotel to take authorization. In case no credit card can be shown, a cash deposit of €50,- per room per night should be paid. 
Payment must be settled by credit card, debit card, or bank card, or cash.

We accept the following types of credit cards:

  • EuroCard/MasterCard

  • Visa
  • Amex

Cancellation policy
We use two different cancellation policies, depending on the reservation you make:

Refundable reservations

There will be no cancellation fee for cancellations made up to 24hours before 6pm on the intended date of arrival. For cancellations made during the 24hours preceding 6pm on the intended date of arrival, we will charge of 50% of the room rate for the first night. For cancellations made after 6pm on the intended date of arrival and in case no cancellation is made, we will charge 100% of the room rate for the first night.

Non refundable reservations

It is not possible to modify or cancel this reservation in any case. The total costs for all room nights, excluding local tourism levies (if applicable) will be charged directly after your reservation is made. Local tourism levies (if applicable) still remains to be paid in the hotel.

Extra beds can be placed for 35 Euros per extra bed per night, these are needed for children from 2 years and older. Availability of suitable rooms is limited and portable beds may need to be used where such accommodation is sought. We do offer child friendly menus as well as breakfast and these are charged as taken. Baby cots can be placed free of charge.

Guests with impaired mobility
The hotel endeavors to offer the same high quality facilities to our less able bodied guests. Where possible, special facilities include spacious and open bathrooms, and lifts in public areas. Guide dogs are welcome in our hotel. Please check with the hotel if you have any special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

The hotel is able to accommodate pets, given prior notice. However, it is not allowed to leave a pet alone in your room.

Car parking
The hotel offers it’s own parking garage called ‘Rietlandpark’. Costs for parking are €3,00 per hour, with a maximum of €25,00 per 24hours. Costs for parking must be paid at the Lloyd Hotel. For more information on parking availability and charges, please contact the hotel directly.

Please note that the hotel is fully non smoking. In case guests do smoke in the hotel, a fine of €150,- will be charged.

Arrival and departure
Hotel rooms are guaranteed from 3pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Late check-out until 4pm is possible, depending on availability, for an additional charge of €35,00 per room.

Pre-payments and deposit
Upon arrival you will be asked to produce a valid credit card for the hotel to take authorization. In case you have booked a refundable reservation, no payment is taken from your credit at the time of booking or upon check-in. Payment is taken upon departure or, in the event of cancellation, in accordance with our cancellation terms. 
In case no credit card can be shown, a cash deposit of €50,- per room per night should be paid.

Complaints or comments
We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at our hotel should be made in the first instance to the hotel's duty manager at the time of your stay so that we can resolve it immediately.
