'Het Kantoor' (The Office) is the largest of Lloyd Hotel’s meeting rooms. With its original Breda parquet, wood-panelled walls, brass-chandeliers and curtained balcony, it has preserved the classical atmosphere of the time it served as office for the Royal Dutch Lloyd shipping company. This is where many emigrants took their final step in looking for a better future: they collected a ticket from one of the ticket offices in the east wall of the room. The Office is great for receptions, luncheons, conferences and special dining occasions.
