Hotel The Exchange is an independent design hotel in central Amsterdam that playfully weaves together fashion and architecture in unique rooms ranging from one to five stars. The hotel is located on the Damrak, one of the liveliest and oldest streets in the heart of the city. The hotel’s café, Stock, serves an indulgent all-day breakfast and hearty, locally made snacks. OPTIONS! is the boutique department store of Hotel The Exchange featuring fashion, interior and student design collections.

OPTIONS! is Hotel The Exchange’s boutique department store for lovers of beautiful things, fun, handmade, good design and interesting stories. Named in a tongue-in-cheek homage to the neighbouring former stock exchange, OPTIONS! has an extensive range. The store stocks design gifts, stationery, ceramics, furniture, magazines and bespoke products from upcoming and established international interior and fashion designers.

Llove Hotel The Llove Hotel concept was created by Suzanne Oxenaar, Artistic Director of the LLOYD HOTEL & Cultural Embassy in Amsterdam.
‘The ‘Llove Hotel’ created by Dutch and Japanese designers was a new contribution to the long lasting tradition of commercial and cultural exchange. It facilitated meetings between Japanese and Dutch designers. The structure of a Love hotel offers extreme artistic freedom to work on the interior as well as on the exterior.’

Lloyd Table The Lloyd Table has been typecast as the ‘Pizza Marghuerita’ among tables. It is a simple yet stylish table designed by Christoph Seyferth for Lloyd Hotel. It is entirely made of steel and therefore not just very strong but also flexible. Since the steel is pliable, the feet and the tabletop always adjust themselves to the shape of the floor it is on, and therefore the table will not wobble.

Shop Lloyd Hotel The shop designed by Richard Hutten is a mix of night shop and a design shop, with preserves, chutneys and muesli for sale. All products are homemade by Lloyd Hotel, using the best ingredients, of the season and without artificial additions. Also for sale are products we developed together with Dutch designers, a selection of special design- and travel books and socks from Hungary.
