Detailed, wood-panelled or tiled rooms designed by Christoph Seyferth overlooking the water. You will find slippers and a bathrobe ready to ease the few steps to the shared bathroom. Room service is available. Artist Christiaan Bastiaans designed the yellow ‘Curtains of Desire’, based on boat-travels and adorned with crustaceans, fish and the odd carcass. They were woven on the machines of the Tilburg Textiel Museum.
Table and bed are of folded sheet steel. The bed is made together with Auping, the bedding company which delivered beds to the emigrants hotel as well. Light fittings and contact points are made of reproduced Bakelite.
