These rooms might have the cozy, 16th-century intimacy of a hidden cupboard bed, or a sense of lofty expansiveness with a two-story ceiling. With more space than the 3-star rooms, rooms in the 4-star category often bring to mind small apartments tucked away in the corners of Amsterdam. Architect de Bazel’s 1920-style furniture compliments the Lloyd’s art-deco flourishes, while Ineke Hans’ chairs lend a bright, modern aesthetic.
4-star rooms are fitted with king or twin beds and all have private bathroom facilities, free WiFi and 24-hour room service.
