The former office of the Royal Dutch Lloyd shipping company, on the ground floor, is the largest meeting space available in the hotel. In former days, the migrants who stayed in Lloyd Hotel bought their tickets here for their passage to South America. The office has been restored to its original style and has a capacity for up to 90 people. It is a high, square room with a beautiful parquet floor and wood panelling. There is a balcony in the room from which one has an excellent overview of the entire space.
A lot of attention has been paid to detail; the brass chandeliers for example reflect the original versions, dating from the 1920’s.
