These cosy 1-star rooms hearken back to the Lloyd’s maritime roots. From neatly styled lamps mounted on magnetic strips to raised beds for stowing luggage, these rooms are peppered with thoughtful details that maximize the available space. Bathrobes are provided free of charge for the daily stroll to the showers which are shared with other 1-star-room guests.
These rooms overlook the water and were created by the Amsterdam-based designer Christoph Seyferth, who also designed the well-known Lloyd Table. Adorned with crustaceans and fish, Christiaan Bastiaans’ ‘Curtains of Longing’ echo tales of epic boat travels. These were specially woven for the Lloyd Hotel at the Textile Museum in Tilburg, known for its collaborations with up-and-coming designers.
Every room in the Lloyd Hotel is unique. When you make a reservation the star category is your choice, but the exact room you will be allocated on arrival is a surprise. If you prefer to book a specific room please let us know in your reservation. We ask a small surcharge (€35) for this request and rooms are subject to availability.
